U-Pick Update for Fall 2026

Lucky You Orchards will not be opening for U-Pick this fall due to an unusually light apple crop.

It’s hard to know exactly why the crop came in so light this year, but we suspect the unusual heat we experienced in mid-March, around bloom and fruit set, may have played a role. It’s one of the realities of farming, every season is different.

Lucky You Orchards is not closing. This is just a light crop year, and we plan to be back welcoming everyone to the orchard for U-Pick next fall.

We know a visit to Lucky You has become part of the fall tradition for many families, and we’ll miss seeing you at the orchard this season.

In the meantime, keep an eye out for updates from us. We’re working on a few fun things and hope to have more ways to bring a little Lucky You to you this fall.
